What is now Second City Hospitality started at a local country club in the Chicago suburbs, where I spent my summers as a teenager. Caddying taught me how to engage with all types of people, ensuring they enjoyed their experience on the golf course...especially if their game wasn't up to par! Eventually, I was awarded the Evans Scholarship to Indiana University and received a Masters from Northwestern University before beginning my professional career in Sports Marketing and Event Management.
My experience in events and hospitality ranges some of the largest sporting events in the world (including NASCAR, NBA, F1, IndyCar, NFL, MLB, PGA Tour, and world major marathons), to multi-hundred person sales conferences to intimate client hosting experiences in the Caribbean.
Even though my experiences have taken me all around the world, the summer days on the golf course are still the foundation of how I approach business. Event planning is no different than the 18-hole journey of golf and my role as your caddy is to help guide you along the way to a successful end product.
When not planning events, I'm out exploring the world with my wife, on the golf course with friends, catching the latest Chicago sports game or on the Peloton.
